This technology-driven livestock inspection system integrates body temperature recognition and environmental risk warning. Taking a pigsty as an example, this self-propelled device can move sequentially to each pigpen for fixed-point monitoring, significantly reducing the burden of manual inspections and avoiding disease prevention risks. AI image recognition identifies pig body temperature, and abnormalities are immediately identified. When an abnormal body temperature is detected, a red warning light on the top LED rotating indicator displays a red warning, reminding on-site personnel to take immediate action. Integrated environmental control sensors monitor ambient temperature, humidity, and heat stress levels. Real-time monitoring of ammonia (NH₃) concentration is also included; excessively high concentrations can lead to piglet mortality and also endanger human health. This self-propelled inspection effectively avoids frequent personnel entry and exit during disease prevention periods, significantly reducing manpower requirements.
The entire system is equipped with four ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning base stations. The battery charging function can maintain operation for 7 hours at a time. It has a front-end monitor and 2D LiDAR. It will automatically stop when it encounters an obstacle and has a charging port and warning light at the front end to indicate whether the equipment is operating normally or has low power and other error messages. The machine itself can self-diagnose the CPU system, battery status and vehicle attitude, and the identification results are sent back in real time.
