Smart Aquaculture: Indoor Autonomous Feeding & Monitoring System

In indoor aquaculture tanks, this system can autonomously move to distribute feed, while surveillance cameras monitor fish activity to determine feeding status, reducing feed waste. Water quality data is collected and uploaded to the cloud, and can be integrated with the Fisheries Agency’s production and sales traceability system, saving labor and operational costs while preventing water pollution caused by accumulated feed.

All monitoring data can be uploaded to the cloud. An intelligent control panel allows both manual and automatic operation, and customized real-time operational information can also be displayed. This innovative design applies a single AI core technology across different smart agriculture, aquaculture, and livestock applications.

The system includes:

  • Ultra-Wideband (UWB) positioning base stations (four units)

  • Battery charging capability, supporting up to 7 hours of operation per charge

  • Front-end monitor and 2D LiDAR, which automatically stops upon detecting obstacles

  • Charging port and warning lights at the front to indicate normal operation, low battery, or other error messages

  • Self-diagnostics: monitors CPU system, battery status, and vehicle posture, with recognition results transmitted in real time
