Smart Livestock: Autonomous Inspection × Body Temperature Recognition × Environmental Risk Alert

Taking a pig barn as an example, this autonomous system sequentially moves to each pen for targeted monitoring, greatly reducing manual inspection workload while minimizing biosecurity risks.

  • AI-based body temperature recognition: instantly detects abnormal temperatures in pigs. When an anomaly is detected, the top LED rotating warning light turns red to alert on-site personnel for immediate action.

  • Integrated environmental sensing: monitors ambient temperature, humidity, and heat stress indicators in real time. Measures ammonia (NH₃) concentration, which at high levels may endanger piglets and human health.

  • Autonomous inspection: minimizes human entry during biosecurity periods, significantly reducing labor requirements.

The system also includes:

  • Ultra-Wideband (UWB) positioning base stations (four units)

  • Battery charging capability, supporting up to 7 hours of operation per charge

  • Front-end monitor and 2D LiDAR, automatically stopping when encountering obstacles

  • Charging port and warning lights at the front to indicate normal operation, low battery, or other errors

  • Self-diagnostics: monitors CPU system, battery status, and vehicle posture, with recognition results transmitted in real time
