Chiayi County Smart Agriculture Equipment Subsidy in 2014

The Chiayi County Government's Agriculture Department stated that the county government has implemented a smart agriculture promotion subsidy program since 2022, and has approved a total of 87 subsidy cases, including 37 cases in agriculture, 42 cases in fisheries, and 8 cases in animal husbandry, with a total subsidy amount of approximately NT$18.65 million.

The total budget for this year's subsidy plan is NT$18 million. Some equipment has a maximum subsidy amount. For example, the maximum subsidy for each unmanned plant protection machine is NT$200,000, the maximum subsidy for each micro weather station is NT$50,000, and the maximum subsidy for each IoT environmental control system or smart electrical box is NT$120,000. If half of the equipment purchase price does not exceed the subsidy cap, half of the price will be subsidized. If it exceeds the subsidy cap, only the cap amount will be subsidized.
